    Red Star Chickens I enjoy my chickens!  They are quite the characters.  It is fun to watch them interact with each other. Be frightened but then regain their composer, once accessing the situation. We have ours for the farm, fresh eggs.  It is really hard to beat!  If you have never had an egg that was less than a week old, you are missing out.  Eggs, especially in the summer, have a bright yellow yolk – full of nutrients and minerals.
